A : “Guys, I can’t handle this anymore. I need some rest.”

B : “Well, this task is easy but you need time to do it. You should have done it a week ago.”

A : “Well, I would if I didn’t join the music contest.”

B : “You might ask me for my help if you need it, though.”

A : “Well, well right now, I just have to finish this work, right?”

B : “I will go to the store buy some snacks. Need anything?”

A : “May I get some diet coke and some chips?”

B : “Yes, sure. I will buy it.”

A : “Thank You.”

-few minutes later-

A : “B! You have to eat this. Finally, I found the secret snack. It has a unique taste.”

B : “hmmm, wait! Is that a shrimp flavor? I may have an allergic to the shrimp. I should not eat it.”

A : “Oh, come on! Let’s try it a bit! It is worth to try.”

B : “If something happens to me, you must give me more diet cokes.”

A : “Okay.”

B : “This thing is good. But I like it better if we eat it with ketchup.”

A : “Ketchup? Yucks! You must be crazy.”

B : “No, I am not crazy.”

A : “Anyway, have you read this book?”

B : “I did read that book. It was so boring. I’d rather play a game than read that book.”

A : “Uh, It is good, tho. I spend my money in it.”

B : “Well, I should say that it is a good story after that part of killing stuff. It doesn’t make any sense. It has too much science fictional stuff. If they cut that part out, it might be interesting.”

A : “Since I am not the author of the book, I couldn’t help any of it. Where is Sarah? She should have come here.”

B : “Yeah, I tried to call her but She couldn’t be reached by her phone number.”

A : “I am starting to feel worried about her.”

B : “Don’t worry. Maybe she just lost somewhere. She will come later.”

A : “I hope so. Let’s pray for her.”

Subject Verb Agreement Part 1 [English]

Sentence should be contained with subject + verb

Example : The car in the garage is mine

Basic rule / principal

Singular subject needs singular verb, plural subject needs plural verb

Example : My brother is nutritionist

Rule 1 – indefinite pronouns

Anyone, everyone, someone, somebody, no one is always singular, required a singular verb.

Example : Somebody has left her purse

Exception 1 : all & some

Exception 2 : none

Special case : each

Rule 2 – together with, as well as and along with

Phrases such as together with, as well as and along with are not the same as and. They don’t add or compound the subject.

Example : The mayor as well as his brother, is going to prison 

The mayor and his brother, are going to prison

Rule 3 – subject separated from the verb / appositive

Sometimes modifier will get between a subject and its verb, but these modifiers must not confuse the agreement between the subject and its verb.

Example : The mayor, who bla bla bla bla bla bla, is finally going to jail

Rinta : "That's great, isn't it?"
Rosi : "Uhm no, I must finish my work before the deadline. I think it's wasting time, money and far from here."
Rinta : "It will be fun, please? I'm begging you."
Ulil : "You should have waited for this time, right?"
Rosi : "No I don't and stop bothering me! I'm busy."
Ulil : "Okay, we'll talk about it later."
Rinta : "We won't go anywhere without you, let me help you."

Collective Nouns [English]

Collective nouns adalah nomina atau kata benda yang menunjukkan pada suatu kelompok/kumpulan orang, binatang, atau benda.

Perhatikan contoh dan catatan untuk collective nouns berikut di bawah ini.

Collective nouns untuk kumpulan orang (groups of people), misalnya: family, crew, team, club, community, committee, choir, company, crowd, band, gang, orchestra, government, audience, army, etc.

Dalam kalimat, collective nouns dapat menggunakan singular atau plural verb, contoh:
- My family was happy to see me.- My family were happy to see me.

Nomina cattle, people, dan the police selalu memakai plural verb.

Jika suatu kumpulan itu berperan sebagai kesatuan sebuah kumpulan (single unit) saja, gunakan singular verb. Tetapi, jika kumpulan itu berperan atau melakukan suatu aktivitas, maka gunakan plural verb, contoh:
- The crowd was orderly.- The crowd were clapping, yelling and cheering.

Contoh lain kumpulan untuk orang (groups of people): crowd of shoppers, company of actors, class of schoolchildren, gang of thieves, panel of judges, platoon of soldiers.

Contoh collective nouns untuk kumpulan binatang (groups of animal) yang biasanya disertai kata tambahan tertentu: herd of cattle, flock of birds, drove of sheep, gaggle of geese, pack of wolves, pride of lions, pod of dolphins, school of fish, litter of puppies, troop of monkeys, brood of chickens, swarm of bees.

Contoh collective nouns kumpulan benda (groups of things) yang juga biasanya disertai kata tambahan tertentu: bunch of bananas, deck of cards, cluster of grapes, flight of steps, bunch of flowers, suite of rooms, bouquet of flowers, suite of furniture, range of mountains, set of tools, fleet of ships, string of beads, fleet of vehicles, grove of trees.

Contoh collective nouns yang menunjukkan jumlah atau bentuk dari suatu benda (the amount or form of something): loaf of bread, bar of soap, ball of string, bar of chocolate.
Catatan

Kata a piece of atau a slice of yang berarti sebagian, bagian, sepotong, atau sedikit, biasanya juga dapat menyertai sebuah kata benda.

Contoh:
- a slice/piece of bread
- a slice/piece of cheese
- a piece/square of chocolate
- a slice/piece of cake
- a sheet/piece of paper
- a piece of chalk
- a piece of information
- a piece of advice

Ada beberapa nomina yang selalu dipakai berpasangan (pair nouns), misalnya: binoculars, glasses, jeans, pants, pyjamas, scissors, shorts, tights, trousers.

Nomina berpasangan ini adalah nomina plural dan selalu memakai verba yang juga plural.
- My jeans need washing.- These tights were quite expensive.
- We've got some scissors somewhere.

Kata sandang (article) a/an atau pernyataan jumlah tidak boleh dipakai secara langsung pada pair nouns, kecuali sebelumnya ditambahkan kata pair of.
- I need some jeans.- Laura bought four pairs of tights.

Will : "That's a pity, isn't it?"
Rosi : "Can you tell me what happened?"
Ega : "I'd love to, but I do know what happened."
Will : "Well . . . uhm sure, I'll tell you, just run out of fuel. By the way, I have 3 invitations for a ball in a ballad ballroom with a lot of ball and some bubble, wanna come?"
Rosi : "Okay! I'll be there."
Ega : "I wish I could, but . . . I have a super duper bad allergic with ball and bubble."
Rosi : "I wonder what happen if you come with us?"

Bukti Tertulis Sejarah Majapahit [Kemampuan Komunikasi]

Berikut adalah bukti-bukti tertulis kerjaan Majapahit, yaitu :

1.       Prasasti Taji Gunung (910 M)

Berisi tentang penyebutan dewa-dewa dengan “Om, Namassiwayanamo Buddhaya”. Artinya “Selamat, bakti kepada Siwa dan Buddha.

2.       Prasasti Sutamrta (1296 M)

Pada lempeng Xa baris ke-dua dan ke-tiga nama dewa disebut “Sri Maharaja, apan Sira Prabudewamurti, wirinci narayana santaratma”. Artinya “Sri Maharaja, karena beliau adalah seorang raja penjelmaan dewa, yaitu Wirinci (Brahma), Narayana (Wisnu), Sankara (Siwa).

3.       Prasasti Singhasari (1351 M)

Berbunyi “komaktan .paduka bhatara sang lumah ring siwa Buddha” yang artinya sang paduka sudah bersatu dengan siwa Buddha.

4.       Prasasti Kudadu (1294 M)

Mengenai pengalaman RadenWijaya sebelum menjadi Raja Majapahit yang telah ditolong oleh Rama Kudadu dari kejaran bala tentaraYayakatwang setelah RadenWijaya menjadi raja dan bergelar Krtajaya Jayawardhana Anantawikramo ttunggadewa, penduduk desa Kudadu dan Kepala desanya (Rama) diberi hadiah tanah sima.

5.         Prasasti Waringin Pitu (1447 M)

      Mengungkapkan bentuk pemerintahan dan sistem birokrasi Kerajaan Majapahit yang terdiri dari 14 kerajaan bawahan yang dipimpin oleh seseorang yang bergelar Bhre, yaitu Bhre Daha,  Bhre Kahuripan,  Bhre Pajang, Bhre Wengker, Bhre Wirabumi, Bhre Matahun,  Bhre Tumapel,  Bhre Jagaraga,  Bhre Tanjungpura, Bhre Kembang Jenar, Bhre Kabalan, Bhre Singhapura, Bhre Keling, dan Bhre Kelinggapura.

6.       Prasasti Canggu (1358 M)

Mengenai pengaturan tempat-tempat penyeberangan di Bengawan Solo. Prasasti Biluluk (1366 M0, Biluluk II (1393 M), Biluluk III (1395 M). Menyebutkan tentang pengaturan sumber air asin untuk keperluan pembuatan garam dan ketentuan pajaknya.

7.       Pustaka Kinjarakarna

Ditegaskan bahwa seorang pengikut Siwadan Buddha tidak dapat mencapai pelepasan jika ia memisahkan yang sebenarnya satu, yaitu Siwa-Buddha.

8.       Pustaka Arjunawijaya

Ketika Raja Arjunawijaya memasuki candi Buddha, para bhiksu menerangkan bahwa para Jina penunggu alam yang digambarkan dalam patung-patung sama dengan para jelmaan Siwa. Wairacana sama dengan Sadasiwa berada di timur, Ratnasambhawa sama dengan Brahma berada di barat, dan Amoghasiddhi sama dengan Wisnu berada di utara.

9.       Kitab Sutasoma

Diceritakan bahwa Kalarudra, seorang tokoh agama Hindu sangat murka kepada Sutasoma, seorang titisan Buddha dan hendak memusnahkannya. Para dewata mencoba meredakan kemurkaan Kalarudra dengan mengingatkan kepadanya bahwa Buddha dan Siwa sebenarnya tidak dapat dijadikan dua (dipisahkan). Jinatawa (hakikat Jinaatau Buddha) adalah sama dengan Sinatattwa (hakikat Siwa). Selanjutnya diajarkan supaya orang merenungkan Siwa-Buddha-Hattwa atau hakikat Siwa-Buddha.

10.     Kitab Nagarakrtagama

Dalam beberapa prasasti Majapahit yang memuat daftar dharmmaupapatti para pejabat dapat dikelompokkan kedalam golongan Buddha dan golongan Siwa. Diantara beberapa upappati ada yang menjabat urusan sekte-sekte tertentu seperti Bhairawapaksa, Saurapaksa, dan Siddhantapaksa. Dari kitab Sanghyang Kamahayanikan, diketahui terdapat sekte-sekte agama Buddha yang disebut Sang Wadisisya Bhagawan Kapila, Sang Wadhikanabhaksasisya, Sang Wadiwesnawa, Sakara, dan Wahyaka. Tidak hanya itu saja kedudukannya sebagai pejabat keagamaan, para upapatti dikenal juga sebagai kelompok cendikiawan, dan kelompok bhujangga.

Kali ini saya akan memposting artikel dalam B. Indonesia. Tau gambar disamping kan? Nah! Itu adalah icon VLC player. Sedikit memberi info nih, VLC player merupakan player serba bisa, karena dia dapat memutar segala jenis video yang kemungkinan tidak bisa diputar di player lama. VLC ini juga bisa memperbesar suara hingga 2 kali dari suara aslinya. Maka dari itu saya selalu memakai VLC untuk memutar video, bahkan player ini juga bisa memutar audio. I'm Savira Rosindah, people usually call me Rosi or Vira :D but I got an unique nick name by my friend on SHS, and it is "Imeh". I was born in Tuban East Java on January 2nd 1996, so~ I'm 18 yo right now. Well, I'm the first child on my family, I have a spoiled lil sist and a fat lil bro. They are Dewi Rahmawati (15 yo) and Rizky Annas (7 yo). Want to know about my parent? My mom is Januartin Rina (43 yo) while my dad is Rahmat Patria (48 yo).

 

I don't have any job right now cause I'm focusing on my 1st year of being a college student :D I have some hobbies here, dancing and listen to music. I listen to ballad song the most. I don't know, sometimes I feel like a crybaby while listen to this kind of song, cause I'm always crying at the end of the song T.T Well that all about me, tell me about yours ^^
